Overview

Located in Hubbard, Oregon, Little Oaxaca is a standout Mexican food truck that brings authentic flavors to the Pacific Highway corridor. Specializing in traditional dishes like Tacos Al Pastor, Carne Asada Tacos, Birria de Res con Arroz y Frijoles, and handmade tortillas, this modest eatery delivers a genuine taste of Oaxaca’s culinary heritage with every order.

The heart of Little Oaxaca lies in its fresh, made-to-order approach. Unlike typical fast food, each dish is crafted with care, using high-quality ingredients and traditional techniques—such as their renowned homemade corn tortillas, which many patrons say are the softest and most authentic they have encountered. The menu, while primarily in Spanish, is accessible thanks to vivid photos, guiding guests through choices like Picaditas, Sopes, Tamales, and loaded Burritos.

Beyond the food, the experience at Little Oaxaca is defined by its family-run hospitality and genuine warmth. Customers often mention the friendly owners and quick service despite the food being made fresh to order. Whether you’re ordering a quick walk-up meal or calling in ahead for pickup, the team ensures your meal is hot and satisfying. This approachable setting is perfect for families, food enthusiasts seeking authentic Mexican street fare, or anyone craving well-prepared traditional dishes without pretense.

The food truck setting naturally limits the ambiance but amplifies the charm of a local, community-oriented dining experience. People appreciate the authentic textures and flavors, from the grilled cactus leaves accompanying street tacos to the richly seasoned birria that captures the depth of Oaxacan cuisine. As noted by frequent visitors, Little Oaxaca isn’t just a meal but a weekly ritual—a place where every plate tells a story rooted in cultural tradition.

In summary, Little Oaxaca offers more than just food; it’s an intimate gateway to Mexico’s vibrant culinary landscape, served with heart on the streets of Hubbard. For those seeking genuine, handcrafted Mexican street food with a welcoming touch, it’s hard to find a more satisfying stop.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE their food! So happy my family discovered it a few years back. This little family food truck has become a weekly treat (sometimes 2 times a week) for us! If you order as a walk up, sometimes there is a bit of a wait but not bad at all. Especially when there's orders ahead of yours. This is not a fast food place and everything is fresh and made to order. If there is a wait, totally worth it! I normally call it in and it's hot and ready for me when I get there. Also, the owners are just the sweetest humans and I'm happy to help support them!

Stopped in this food trailor with a walk in shed add on and was happy we did. Authentic Mexican with homemade corn tortillas. Even down to the grilled cactus leaves...yumm. Street tacos is what we had. I had chicken (polo), she had beef (carne asada). Came fully loaded (meet, cilantro, onion) with radish slices and a cactus/onion mix on the side. She had them ad sour cream and they both were good taisting, not greesy and good meat (no grisly spots). Friendly staff and normal speed to make to order. We were happy. Recommended. Note: the menue is written primarily in Spanish but, has good photos.

It’sa food truck so I don’t know how you could have good atmosphere. This is one of the best food trucks I’ve been to in Oregon. The tripe tacos are my favorite, a close second is literally everything else. Pastor, cabeza, lengua, asada, all incredible.
